We are just going along in our little corner of the world. Sometimes I feel like my whole life is lived in the four walls of this house. :) But life is great and this is our season for now. I am still loving being "settled" finally into a normal life and Aaron being done with all his schooling and into the job he loves. We truely are blessed!
I am still taking care of 2 babies during the day while the kids are at school. Its great because I can still make some money, but still be here to get the kids on and off the bus and be home with Kensi. So for now this is the job for me. I really do love being here and not having to take Kensi to a babysitter. I had to take both Kobe and Maddie to a babysitter because I was working full time, so this time around has been a whole new experience for me and I must say I'm lovin it. I am finding as the kids get older I am gettin busier and busier. I think this is so strange because I always thought it was busy when they were little and that as they got older things would slow down. I guess in one sense it has since they can do everything for themselves as far as their physical needs, but man has it gotten busier with school, sports, etc. And this is just the beginning...we are only to the 2nd grade! :) So I am find myself just trying to find that balance of not being involved into many things, but also trying to not be a hermit in my house. :) I'll let you know when I get it figured out! haha Don't hold your breathe, cause it might take a while. :)
Officer Aaron is doing really well and loves his job! Yeah! I am so incredibly thankful for this because he has had some jobs in the past where he just hated going to work. So its so wonderful for me to see him in something he thoroughly enjoys! He even said the other day, "this is the first job I have had in my life that I actually look forward to going to." How awesome is that?!!? Its so great when you finally find your niche and are exactly where God has placed you. Its been an adjustment for us to this job as well, all good though. From his crazy stories, to being woken up at ungodly hours in the morning because he accidently hits the wrong button as he is leaving for work setting off his siren (I am sure the neighbors loved that;)), to getting used to that crazy car being parked outside our door, it has been a fun adventure so far!
Kobe and Maddie are doing great. The just had their 100th day of school for this year and had a big party. So thats been the highlight of the week for them. Maddie is absolutely loving kindergarten. Kobe says his favorite times at school are lunch and recess. :) He is ready for summer! They are getting so big and mature its scary! And I love this stage of life with them...for the most part! Their relationship is one of love/hate. One minute they

are best buddies playing together and loving life and the next minute they are full on fighting and picking non stop!!!!!!! It drives me c.r.a.z.y.! I feel like I have become full time referee. I fully remember doing this stuff when I was a kid with my brothers and sisters, but now being the mom and seeing it from a different perspective its just down right irritating. :) It makes me feel like climbing the walls or going to do something fun like get a root canal. Its amazing to see the pure pleasure Kobe gets from just quietly doing things to pick on Maddie and thus making her scream to the top of her lungs. Their is actual joy in his eyes! Ah, the joys of motherhood. Don't get me wrong, Maddie gives it right back to him, so the sides are

equally balanced. I am sure some of you can relate! So for now, I wear the whistle around my neck and try to keep from wearing earplugs. :) Ah, the sibling relationship, its such a beautiful thing. Hopefully, they'll turn out all right, right?!?!? I am sure one day we will look back and laugh, just not today. :) Its just a stage, right?! Please, someone tell me they grow out of this!
And little miss Kensi continues to be down right yummy! She is an absolute delight. She is almost 8 months now.

She is trying to figure out this crawling thing. So far she has made it up onto the her hands and knees and just rocked back and forth. She is pretty close. Although, this mama is in no hurry to push her to crawl. By the third baby I have learned to love and to hang onto every last minute of the "immobile days". :) She is such a happy, fun girl and I feel so lucky to hang out with her all day!
So thats where we are at the moment! We have had a great winter, but these warm, sunny days have made all of us yearn for spring. Not to long now. I hope you are all well. I'd love to hear from you! And hopefully soon will be making some trips to see some of you!
